After studying biochemistry in undergrad, I worked at the US Department of Energy Joint Genome Institute in education outreach, genome annotation, and structural biology before completing my PhD at University of California San Francisco in biomedical informatics with a focus on ensemble structures of proteins. I joined the Colab in June of 2021. My passions include Bayesian inference, probabilistic programming languages, automatic differentiation, and engineering efficient, extensible, composable and open-source software.
Trying to keep up with my two high-energy children and contributing to various open source projects.
